The company Poggio delle Rose srl presented in September 2020 the application for a contribution for an investment program aimed at the renovation of part of the property for receptive use located in the municipality of Chianciano Terme, province of Siena. The investigation of the submitted application was successful for the realization of the proposed project.

The intervention concerns the internal and external renovation of the ground floor of the building used as a vacation home located in the municipality of Chianciano Terme (Siena), owned by the company Poggio delle Rose srl. The property is located in the Sienese countryside surrounded by greenery with tall trees is structured as a villa with mixed masonry of stone and brick divided into several apartments for vacation homes. The renovation includes the use of the ground floor which currently includes two apartments as well as service rooms such as storage and warehouses. These surfaces are to be renovated in order to create inside rooms with bathroom, a kitchen area, a room for breakfast room and a SPA area. With the restructuring some partitions are demolished to create new ones with metal frame structure and panels in thermo-acoustic fibrocement including insulation and soundproofing. The windows and doors will be replaced with new ones in thermal break aluminium and 6/7-12-6/7 low emissivity double glazing. All the lighting fixtures, both new and old, will be made with low energy consumption and low light impact LEDs. The energy (heat pump air conditioners with seasonal efficiency values up to class A+++ in cooling and A+++ in heating and reduced environmental impact thanks to the refrigerant R-32) and technological systems that will be included in the renovation will allow to reach an energy class suitable to promote a considerable saving in heating costs, a new living comfort, an increase in real estate value and a reduction of CO2 emissions, all in full respect of the environment, current regulations and the criteria of good construction. The intervention also includes the purchase of new furniture and equipment (furniture rooms, breakfast room, bathrooms, etc..) closely related to the business activities of the company Poggio delle Rose s.r.l. falling in the tourist accommodation sector.
